Full Architectural and Lead Consultancy Services for the renovation of this historic landmark property on Manhattan’s Upper East Side as a destination Luxury Hotel in a partnership combining these two iconic signature ultra luxury brands.  All architectural, interior, engineering and specialist consultancy services, including interior design services by Rockwell Group, are provided under the Lead Consultancy Services of GGD, who is also the architect of record.  Originally constructed in 1927, the Project is comprised of an existing 4 story Townhouse and 17 story Hotel, including residential townhouse apartment units and 145 keys of guestrooms and suites.  The Project has a total built up area of approximately 160,000 square feet, with food & beverage offerings featuring the unique Nobu omakase experience, as well as bar, lounge and all day dining areas, and including a traditional Japanese Onsen, spa & wellness center, along with commensurate guest amenities, front and back of house areas.
